"Works okay, but file support is a bit iffy"
I mean, Pixlr is fine for quick little edits, but I’m not totally sure I’d rely on it for anything involving different file types. I tried opening a few files from other design apps, and some of them either didn’t load properly or the layers got messed up. The export options also feel kind of limited if you need something beyond basic JPG or PNG. For simple images it’s alright, but if you work with different formats a lot, it can get frustrating

"I just needed to make a quick edit..."
I just needed to make a quick edit on pixlr, but it ended up taking way longer than I expected. The layout felt kind of scattered, and a few buttons/tools didn’t behave the way I assumed they would, so I kept second-guessing what I was doing.

Maybe it’s fine if you already know your way around photo editing apps, but for a casual user it’s not very intuitive. I spent more time hunting for basic features than actually editing, which feels preventable. I eventually gave up.

"Pixlr is handy for quick edits, and..."
Pixlr is handy for quick edits, and I’ve used it when I just need to make a few simple changes. But the free plan feels way too limited, and the ads can get frustrating fast. I get that companies need to make money, but they should be more upfront about what you can actually do for free instead of making it feel useful at first and then constantly pushing you toward limits. It’s fine for small, basic tasks, but I think Pixlr needs to take more responsibility for making the free experience clearer and less annoying.

"i mostly use pixlr for the design..."
i mostly use pixlr for the design assets, and it’s been really useful. there are tons of stickers, templates, and little elements i can quickly drop into posts. it saves me a bunch of time, and finding what i need is easy.

"Bad timing for Firefox issues"
I tried using it in Firefox and it just didn’t work right. Of course it happened when I actually needed to get something done, so I ended up wasting time and switching to another browser just to finish.

"Refund sorted out quickly"
I had a billing issue and felt a bit pressured at first trying to get it handled, but the refund was sorted out fast in the end.

"Worth it for how I use it"
For what I need it for, the subscription feels fair and gives me enough value to justify keeping it. I do wish the monthly price was a little lower, but overall it works well for my day-to-day use

"Support came through, just took a while"
I did get the help I needed in the end, but the whole process felt slower than I expected. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just one of those reminders that decent support isn’t only about solving the issue, it’s also about feeling like someone’s on it while you’re waiting.

"Clean overall, though a little busy in spots"
I found the interface easy to use overall, and the layout is mostly clean. To be fair, it’s not confusing or hard to navigate, but there are a few areas that feel a bit cluttered and could use some cleaning up.

"Pretty dependable, with a couple odd moments"
Overall, it’s been working fine for me. It did crash once or twice, which was a little annoying, but nothing too serious. I kind of wonder if it was maybe tied to an update or something running in the background, though I can’t say for sure.

"A practical pick for quick edits"
I use Pixlr whenever I need to touch up a photo or put together a simple graphic without spending a bunch of money. It works right in the browser, which just makes sense if you don’t want to install extra software for basic edits. Some of the tools can take a minute to track down, but it’s not a dealbreaker. For what it costs and what it can do, it’s a solid value.

"Decent retouching, but not totally natural"
It fixed the little spots well, so that part was nice. But the skin smoothing was looking a bit fake in some areas, like the face don’t look totally natural sometimes...

"Updating my account was honestly painless"
I had to mess with a few account things on Pixlr, like changing my email, checking what plan I was on, making sure my billing info looked right, and just poking around the settings in general. It was all straightforward. No random error messages, no buttons disappearing, no having to refresh the page five times, no confusing “are you sure?” loops or anything like that. I updated what I needed, saved it, and everything actually stuck. So for basic account stuff like email changes, plan details, settings checks, and little profile edits, it worked totally fine for me.

"I used to open Pixlr and..."
I used to open Pixlr and get straight to editing, which was the whole reason I liked it. Now it keeps nudging me to log in before I can do basic little things, and it’s annoying. Like, if I’m just trying to crop a photo, brighten something, resize an image, add a quick bit of text, or fix one tiny detail, I don’t want to stop and make another account. I just wanted to do a fast edit and move on, not deal with sign-ups, passwords, emails, and all that.

"good editor but Kinda slow sometimes"
I use Pixlr when I just need to do quick edits, and it gets the job done. The only thing is the speed can be random for me. Some days it loads right away, other times it starts lagging when I add layers or try effects. it’s not awful or anything, just annoying when I’m trying to finish something Fast

"Background remover felt a bit hit or miss"
I tried Pixlr mostly for removing backgrounds, and I’m still not totally sure how I feel about it. Sometimes it cut the person out well, but other times it left strange edges or chopped off bits of hair and clothing. I’m always a little worried with tools like this that I’m getting fooled by the quick preview, then I zoom in and realize I still have a bunch of cleanup to do. I ended up fixing things manually, which kind of defeats the whole point. It’s not the worst, but I expected it to be more reliable.

"Useful AI tools, but definitely hit or miss"
pixlr’s AI tools are handy when I just need quick edits or to mess with backgrounds. Nice. But the results can get a little weird sometimes, and it runs slower than I’d like on my laptop. Annoying. For small jobs, it’s good enough, but I wouldn’t call it perfect...

"Pretty easy to pick up"
I went into pixlr with basically no photo editing background, so I was expecting to feel totally lost. But it has a approachable feel to it, like it’s made for people who are still figuring things out. A few tools took me a minute, but most of the stuff was right where I assumed it would be based on the layout.

After doing a couple small projects, I started feeling way more comfortable clicking around. I still mess things up here and there, but the undo button has definitely saved me more than once lol. It’s a solid choice if you want to edit photos without dealing with something that feels overly complicated.

"Export quality is just bad"
I was just editing a simple image in Pixlr, it looked totally fine while I was working on it. Nothing complicated, just some basic edits and text.

But then I exported it and... the quality was noticeably worse. The text came out blurry, the colors looked a little off, and the whole thing had that weird compressed look, even though I chose the best export settings I could find.
I ended up having to redo the whole thing somewhere else because the final file just wasn’t usable. It’s really frustrating when something looks okay in the editor, but the export basically ruins it.

"Pixlr is okay overall, but the templates..."
Pixlr is okay overall, but the templates just didn’t really do it for me. A bunch of them felt kind of same-same, or a little outdated, so I ended up spending more time tweaking things than I wanted to. It works fine for quick, quick edits, but I expected a wider selection to choose from.
